Towing / Parking enforcement Parking enforcement is a critical component to the success and prosperity of an apartment community or mobile home park. There is nothing more frustrating than to come home at the end of a long day and find someone else's vehicle in your parking space; often times one who doesn't live in the community. It is also important to have strict enforcement to reduce the crime that can occur when a community is not controlled and allows unfamiliar vehicles to enter and park in the community. When you have well-controlled parking, you have a safer community. Like a professional security presence, parking enforcement is critical because it interacts with residents and non-residents alike. Professionalism, courtesy, consistent rules and fairness are at the top of all resident services. Residents who feel safe and understand the rules and regulations of a community are more likely to be more cooperative and loyal residents. There is no doubt that if someone is towed from the property they will not be very happy about it and you feel it could cause a public relations problem, but not so if it done correctly. Most people are not happy when they get a speeding ticket or when the police stop them for running a red light The fact is people who do not take responsibility of their acts will never be very happy. There will be times when people who have violated the property rules and regulations insist that they are in the right, THEY ARE NOT! Nevertheless, the vast majority of people who follow the rules and regulations will greatly appreciate the implementation of a parking enforcement policy because it will protect their lives and property. On most occasions, violators of parking regulations don't even live in the community, therefore, they don't pay the rent, association dues or fees that are a part of living in an apartment or association residences. With a consistent professional parking enforcement the results will be remarkable within the first six weeks. Residents who violate the rules and regulations of the property will in short order realize that they need to follow the rules. It will take very little time before the infraction rate will dramatically drop and the need for towing will go down. The word will get out to regular visitors that they too will have to abide by the rules and will conform in little time. Last but not least, when choosing a tow company be sure that they are within a ten mile radius of your community and they conform to all the rules and regulations of the California Vehicle Code 22658 and any other code pertaining to the laws of the State of California.
